Scope and selection
We cover Entertainment, Sports, and Tech for readers across English-speaking markets. Trend signals do not become articles by default. A topic must be timely, identifiable, relevant to one of our desks, and substantial enough to support an original explainer.
The daily list is ranked globally. Repeated versions of the same story should be consolidated rather than published as separate articles. A soft weekly category target may change the order of qualifying drafts, but does not change the score-ranked top 10 or lower the quality gate. Stories publish as they qualify, with no minimum daily quota.
Automation and accountability
Software and artificial intelligence assist with collection, classification, source research, drafting, and quality checks. A database-enforced gate blocks stories that miss minimum standards. The TwoBees Editorial Desk owns the system, monitors failures, and is responsible for published material.
We do not describe an automated check as human review. “Reviewed by” appears only after an individual staff member explicitly records a personal review of the facts, sources, and reader value, with consent to display their professional name and review date. The credit is tied to that text and source version; a material change or withdrawal hides it. An article without this credit has no recorded human review of its current version. The Editorial Desk remains the author of automated stories.
Sourcing and writing
- Prefer primary sources, official records, and established reporting.
- Verify names, dates, numbers, quotations, and whether an event is confirmed.
- Use at least three verified sources, cited in substantive prose, across two publisher groups and show the source list to readers.
- Count a publisher’s subdomains and known common-owner aliases together. Listed but unused URLs do not satisfy the evidence gate.
- Distinguish confirmed facts from plans, allegations, analysis, and opinion.
- Write original explanations; do not reproduce long passages from another publisher.
- Disclose significant conflicts, sponsorship, or commercial influence.
Publication gate
An automated article must meet minimum freshness, length, citation, source-count, category, and relevance requirements before it can publish. Failed items remain private for investigation. Passing the gate reduces avoidable errors but does not remove our obligation to correct a mistake later.
New drafts must also document an explanatory contribution beyond a source-page summary: a specific reader question, a substantive paragraph answering it, and supporting key facts and citations from two verified publisher groups. Domain grouping uses the public suffix list and a limited, reviewed alias map; it cannot detect every shared owner or syndicated report. Editors must still assess genuinely independent evidence. This evidence check does not establish plagiarism-free writing, factual accuracy, or a human review. Named review is optional and cannot waive a failed publishing check. Weekly human checkpoints remain necessary. Older published stories are not retroactively labelled as having passed this new check.
Country labels
“Trend detected in” identifies the market where our source recorded attention to a topic. It does not establish that the events happened there, that the story is local news, or that we reported from that country.
Independence and corrections
Traffic potential may influence which topics receive attention, but it must not alter a factual conclusion. Paid placement, when offered, must be clearly labelled and kept distinct from editorial reporting. Readers can use our corrections process to challenge a claim.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising does not influence topic ranking, sourcing, or factual conclusions. TwoBees may later use clearly identified display ads and selective affiliate links where a product is genuinely relevant. An affiliate relationship will be disclosed beside the affected content, and no payment will guarantee favourable coverage.
