Scope and selection
We cover Entertainment, Sports, and Tech for readers across English-speaking markets. Trend signals do not become articles by default. A topic must be timely, identifiable, relevant to one of our desks, and substantial enough to support an original explainer.
The daily list is ranked globally. Repeated versions of the same story should be consolidated rather than published as separate articles.
Automation and accountability
Software and artificial intelligence assist with collection, classification, source research, drafting, and quality checks. A database-enforced gate blocks stories that miss minimum standards. The TwoBees Editorial Desk owns the system, monitors failures, and is responsible for published material.
We do not describe an automated check as human review. When a named person materially reports or edits a story, that contribution should be reflected in the byline or an editor's note.
Sourcing and writing
- Prefer primary sources, official records, and established reporting.
- Verify names, dates, numbers, quotations, and whether an event is confirmed.
- Use at least two stored sources and show the source list to readers.
- Distinguish confirmed facts from plans, allegations, analysis, and opinion.
- Write original explanations; do not reproduce long passages from another publisher.
- Disclose significant conflicts, sponsorship, or commercial influence.
Publication gate
An automated article must meet minimum freshness, length, citation, source-count, category, and relevance requirements before it can publish. Failed items remain private for investigation. Passing the gate reduces avoidable errors but does not remove our obligation to correct a mistake later.
Independence and corrections
Traffic potential may influence which topics receive attention, but it must not alter a factual conclusion. Paid placement, when offered, must be clearly labelled and kept distinct from editorial reporting. Readers can use our corrections processto challenge a claim.
